Project Overview
The Karari–Shahpur Road widening project transformed a 20-kilometre Major District Road corridor in Kaushambi district under NABARD funding. The comprehensive scope included earthwork, multi-layer pavement construction (GSB, WBM/WMM, and bituminous layers), cement concrete structural works, and PC/Seal Coat/BM/DBM/BC/SDBC bituminous surfacing. Bridge and culvert construction was included as part of the integrated corridor development. The project was completed in April 2020 with a total work value of ₹30.31 Crore, rated at 7.10% above the original estimate.

Significance
